The Future Ancestors Constellation is a portal where we feature 'Constellation Stars', independent service providers that identify as Black, Indigenous, racialized, LGBTQ2S+, and/or disabled. They offer training, speaking, research, consulting, art, and photography services and more, and centre anti-racism and climate justice in their work. All Constellation Stars are based in what is currently Canada.
STEP 1: EXPLORE
Explore our database using the search engine tools below. Search keywords like "Métis" or "Climate Justice."Take a look at Constellation Star profiles, and download their tayhkay di miyootootow for more information.
STEP 2: CONNECT
Once you've found a Constellation Star that you'd like to connect with, reach out to them using their email.

STEP 3: HIRE
Once you've connected with a Constellation Star and the opportunity is mutually fulfilling, hire them!
Each Constellation Star will share their guidelines for how to respect them in your working relationships.

WE REVIEW APPLICATIONS FOR CONSTELLATION STARS EVERY EQUINOX.
Constellation Stars are featured in our database, and have the option to subscribe to the Future Ancestors Entrepreneur's Galaxy. The Entrepreneur's Galaxy features a contract database, resources, and exclusive capacity-building engagements all tailored for the unique experiences and needs of Black, Indigenous, racialized, LGBTQ2S+, and disabled entrepreneurs in what is currently Canada.
We accept applications to be featured in the Future Ancestors Constellation year round, and our review processes take place every equinox (in September and March). The Waashayshkwun Grant Fund review and disbursements follow the solstices (in June and December). As an organization, we are on continued journeys in understanding how our ancestors used moon cycles to mark ceremony and social organization
